Hull City Council has prepared for consultation a Sustainable Development Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) and an accompanying Sustainability Appraisal Scoping Report.

The SPD provides details on how to make sure that proposals for new development in the city are sustainable. It provides additional detail and guidance on policies found in national planning statements, the Yorkshire and Humber Plan, and the City Plan.

The Sustainability Appraisal assesses whether the proposals are sustainable. Click here to view and comment on the Sustainability Appraisal.
The SPD, the Sustainability Appraisal Scoping Report and the representations made during this consultation will be used to prepare a second consultation SPD later this year. The Council would like to know your views on the proposals. Representations must be received between Wednesday 27 February 2008 and Tuesday 8 April 2008.
